Discover Florence tour
Enjoy a walk in good company through the streets of the center of Florence to discover the extraordinary history of the city that led a simple Roman colony to become the Cradle of the Renaissance.
We have designed this 2-hours experience for people new to Florence, but also for Florentines who want to find out more about the history and the secrets of some of the main monuments (and not only) of our beautiful city.
Starting from the "oldest" square of the city, Piazza Repubblica, we will discover the ancient origins of Florence and the main events that led it to the splendor of the Renaissance. A few meters away, in Piazza San Giovanni, we can admire the wonders of the Opera del Duomo complex: Baptistery of San Giovanni, Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore surmounted by the majestic Brunelleschi's Dome, and Giotto's Bell Tower, revealing a thousand secrets and curiosities.
A short walk through the medieval quarter between Dante's House, the House-towers and the Orsanmichele church will take us to the so-called "open-air museum", Piazza Signoria, where a beautiful collection of ancient statues with a thousand symbols surrounds the very famous Palazzo Vecchio.
Speaking of one of the most prominent characters in the history of Florence, Cosimo I de 'Medici, we will discover the secret passage that connects the 2 palaces that the Grand Duke of Tuscany lived in, called Corridorio Vasariano, until reaching another iconic monument of the city: Ponte Vecchio, with many other curiosities.
