Tour of the Accademia Gallery
Discover with relatives and friends the beauties of one of the most important museums in Florence: the Accademia Gallery.
The museum exhibits a collection of Medici's musical instruments, plaster casts, and valuable paintings from suppressed monastic orders, but above all it boasts one of the most important collections in the world of the statuary production of the Genius of Michelangelo Buonarroti.
The collection is not limited to the very famous "David", but also includes an unfinished statue of "San Matteo" which was supposed to decorate the Duomo of Florence; also stand out 4 other unfinished statues called "Prisons", designed for the decoration of the tomb of Pope Julius II, and a statuary work of dubious attribution called the "Pietà di Palestrina".
Together we will retrace the eclectic life of the famous sculptor in order to steal the secrets of his genius through the works in question.
